Good after an hour, great after two...this had the classic sticky sweet red fruit characteristic of this vineyard but more subdued than other vintages. Still my favorite Napa Cab!

2000 Bryant that has held up perfectly and fully evolved. Fresh and lively with 3-5 years left, easy. Mingling jammy fruits, layers of sweet spice matched with exotic spice. Opulent and flamboyant. Excellent from the moment it was opened to the last drop.

This was an impressive side show to our Sauv Blanc lunch contributed by @Martin G Rivard. I was worried when I saw that it was a 2000 but that was totally unwarranted. Loads of weight and class here, still showing ample fruit —an excellent pull at the perfect time.

My first Bryant. Outstanding fruit and purity, hasn’t lost a step at 17+ yrs. Seems like these can go 25+. Scorched cherry, cola, and cloves. One of the best Napa cabs this yr.

Another 2000 that is holding up beautifully, proves again good acidity holds the wine together and provides great balance.
