Bettina Proprietary Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

First time having this. Very pleased with it but a bit thin. That is very subjective because the wines coming from Napa now are massive.

Candied violets, cognac soaked cherry, cedar, wet tobacco, cassis, Madagascar vanilla. Beautiful

Raspberry, black cherry, cassis, mint, baking spices and cedar. M- acid, m+ soft round tannin. M+ finish and complexity. Drinkable now but will get even better with a bit more time.

Black currants, dark cherries, wild herbs. Opulent but very smooth and refined. Bordeaux like on the nose, palate reveals its Californian identity.

Woah fruit. smells like cotton candy or something. Tastes like a blackberry. A big wine which isn't balanced yet.

So elegant !!

This unfortunately followed the 2010 VHR in our blind tasting. It was elegant and rich but didn't hold up to the previous wine. The rating is in the context of the tasting and may have scored higher if drank alone.
