Huge exotic nose, so much going on, stunning wine

Refined and subtle. Great weight and bouquet. Was a bit more fragile than I was expecting but I enjoyed it to the last.

Very balanced and subtle. Fruit started slow but was much stronger after 45 minutes. Refined and elegant.

Very complex nose, ripe but not weighty. Masculine aromatic profile— black truffle, balsamic reduction, graphite, bright rose petal. Layered palette with plenty of tannins left. Good to drink, would improve over 5, maybe 10 years?

Incredible nose. Smooth and light on palate. Could smell all day.

May be the best barbaresco I've ever had. Nathan cracked a bottle at his house.

2000 Falletto Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco. Red wine #1 at Greg's 80th birthday dinner at Il P. Huge wine, which K thought had turned at first, but changed very quickly to be super. Still a big wine, but we really like it. Just needed more time in the decanter.
