Not your usual Zin. Has a very interesting nose. Hints of dark fruit and pepper. Taste of pepper on the first sip and fruit on the finish. It's a nice combination.

Very interesting. Ruby in the glass and a nose of dark fruits with just a touch of funk. The old world leather shoes itself primarily here, as well. Fruit on the nose, meat on the palate. All savory notes here. Thick, grilled burger, with nice spices and plums. A bit atypical of modern Zins in that it's not a massive fruit bomb. Yes it's 14.8 but it somehow keeps the heat down. The Carignane and Petite Sirah really add the structure and balance needed.
