Very lightly corked..but a lot of it evaporated out. Cork shredded.. but after filtration, finally got to try this. It was definitely ready to drink this year. Gamey meat, eucalyptus, pepper, and baked fruit on the nose. The pallet was still full of life, but not as vibrant as I'd hoped. Dark brick red in color, and silky but still gripping tannins - black plum skin, casis, dark raspberry jam, espresso bean, bell pepper, and a soft earthy finish.
