Oregon is definitely turning into my new favorite spot for new world Riesling. Not too sweet, drinking beautifully. Acidity is nicely balanced.

Petrol, celery seed, and applesauce. The acid is there but doesn't quite cleave the midpalate in half. Couldn't have mistaken it for German Riesling but that's unfair and it's still a perfectly nice wine. New World Riesling is always so much more broad-shouldered and syrupy than German Riesling, and it's thus easy to identify, but even if the comparison is unfair I can't help but make it upon tasting a new Riesling.
