Dark and deeply colored. Nose is smoke and black fruits of the tree and vines. Flavor is plumy and plump with a bit of cherry sauce in the mix. Nice tannins. Goes perfectly with spicy pasta and red sauce covered in hard cheeses. So Ital does it again!
The 2019 vintage is a bit on the mellow side, pretty similar tho.
