2009 Broman Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon #wineoftheday I love finds like this! I have been looking at this bottle for about a year now. Finally got a chance to try it. It was phenomenal! Beautiful dark fruit, cigar box, notes of leather. Tannins have smoothed out and it covers the entire palate. I looked into this wine and low and behold half the fruit comes from the Dr. Crane Vineyard and half comes from Broman's Deer Park Road Vineyard. At $85 a bottle this is an amazing find!

Broman cab, an all time fave. I think Bob Broman is a great winemaker and the whole family is very nice. This '06 Reserve is superb. The color is brilliant deep ruby. Pine, rosemary, fennel, spice in the nose. Delicious ripe plum and blackberry fruit, soft tannins enough acidity to refresh. First time trying this beauty.
