Very interesting complex bouquet from this 18 year old Priorat: fresh cut grass, barnyard, herbal and floral scents, etc. rich plummy and blackberry fruit, long finish. Has enough acidity to refresh. Delicious. — 10 years ago

Complex wine and very satisfying after a long drive back from Cape Cod. Pale gold color still young looking. Viscous on the palate from malolactic fermentation complemented by lively acidity. Complex fruit with some green apple coming through. Nice! — 10 years ago

An old favorite come of age at 18. Of the wines of Ribera del Duero this is certainly one of my faves. If you can find the this, the '97 vintage, at $29 as this was marked after taking the photo, don't wait, buy. — 10 years ago

We are drinking this along with '00 Cristom Marjorie. I'd say both are at peak and they are delicious! Lush black cherry fruit, nice acidity refresh, richness from the oak. Delicious! — 10 years ago

Not sure what other reviewers are tast but this '04 Ducale Oro with a side clam linguine in red sauce up here in Cape Cod is delicious. Pretty nose with some rosemary or pine scents and vibrant fruit make for a delicious wine. — 10 years ago
