What Zinfandel should be. Light, fun and fruity with an acidic backbone. No oak in the way. Delicious.

Peach yogurt, fresh plum, simple, light, and fun! Medium acidity and light bodied at 12%. Not your usual Cali jammy fruit and alcohol bomb!

I'm into most geeky wine stuff and it's interesting to have a 12.8% alc zin, but this didn't seem to have a lot of varietal character. Fresh and easy to drink all the same.

Nice color. I appreciate the lightness. Notes of raw, fresh cherry skin. A bit too tart.

There's not many times when I drink CA Zin, but this would be one of them. Blackberries, black plums, smoky, earthy undertones. Yum!

Been drinking Chris' wine for some time now, and this might be his best Vine Starr so far. RISE ABOVE!

This wine was a big disappointment!! It lacked body and I tasted very little fruit. Maybe I got a bad bottle. I noticed when I got it home that the top was not sealed.
