Day 19 - break time! This is the first time in many many years that I have toys to wrap for Christmas! I’m enjoying every minute of it along with this nice Shiraz from South Africa. Smooth tannins, full bodied, dark red in color. Very fruit forward with blackberries and pomegranate on the palate. This wine was paired with a hot and spicy white cheese and a bourbon vanilla truffle.

Dec 19th, 2019Day #3 on the advent calendar. This is a Shiraz from Australia. Very light and fruity, paired with a creamy tomato and olive cheese and a mousse au chocolat truffle. Got photo bombed by my cat interested in the cheese so I just went with it!
