Deep Ruby red color with pronounced aromas of berry fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, dried fruit, spice, leather and smoke. Long finish, full bodied, smooth tannins, ending with fruit, cacao and tobacco notes. Nice.

Very sweet and smooth. Normally, I go for a tawny, but this is quite a dessert wine for the price!

Clean. Smoking jacket worthy. Masculine, dark, somewhat spicy, fruity but certainly not too sweet. Finishes warm and compliments chocolate covered pretzels perfectly (salt perhaps?). Unimaginable for the price. Beats many 2007 vintages and 20yrs.
