A Gallo wine. Solid, old world style, if I had been blinding would have said Bordeaux, so not much Syrah character here, but a really good wine nonetheless. Did they blend Cab in?

I'm in a Syrah mood this week. Nice, smooth, jammy on the nose but mild to taste with dark/ purple fruits. -2009 vintage
