Really enjoyed this. The non estate site has a lot of character outside the traditional BH estate wines. With age it turned into a special wine. A little Cameron type funk as well from this McMinnville site.

Opening nose of muted fruit (plums?), fragrant wood & touch of earthy soil. First taste is brighter acid fruit balanced with astringent tannins; acid predominates strongly at end... Perhaps too much, but this should mitigate over time and provide a long balanced linger. Great Pinot character... Again maybe not my favorite character but others will love this
