I simply couldn't help myself. Black cherry, forrest floor and mineral, acidity across the palate...gangs all here but it's going to take awhile.

Should've waited but just couldn't! Rough day deserves a gem of a wine.

Bitter minerality. Old world. Great stuff.

Nice complex nose with dark fruit, cherry, and grounded in earthy tones. First hit on palate has lovely muted cherry, (&fragrant wood?), mild spice balanced with just right astringent tannins. Long pleasant linger retains all of those characters. A very even, delightfully drinkable wine. Love it!!

Traditional Pinot bouquet, heavy with blackberries and baked cherries, with hints of mint and menthol, ending with field mushrooms. Starts off bright with fresh Queen Anne cherries, ripe grapefruit, and currants, growing savory with braised meats and sautéed mushrooms, and ending with medium length of peppercorn, earth, and hints of cedar.
