Unique varietal for Calistoga wines. Limited aromatics - earthy, strawberry jelly almost. Opens nicely, medium bodied, a nice tannin and tartness blend, plummy, dark fruit balanced with earthy. Really enjoyed it, but totally biased, as the cellarmaster brought us the bottle!
