Fresh, lighter and more high toned than all the other Gibbston pinots. More red than black fruit. Won wine of the year in 2011. Balanced and quite elegant.

Very drinkable. Hints of plums and red fruit on the nose. Medium acidity and some black current with a light mouth feel. Overall very nice with NZ pizza.

Concentrated red berry fruitiness shines above high (-ish, relatively speaking) alcohol, very good stuff!
