Brazin, from Lodi, one of the oldest California wine growing regions. This is a big Zin, with aromas of ripe berries and bold spice. On the palate jammy blackberry and sweet strawberry flavors, nice acidity on a balanced frame. Medium finish ending with spicy pepper notes.

Bold nose, assertive palate. Explodes with boysenberry jam and blueberries followed by black pepper, licorice and finishes with some smoke and tobacco. A sweeter, higher alcohol fruit bomb but very quaffable. Recommend!

Not the best of Brazin but a good value. This is an awkward wine with some peppery notes and decent finish but not consistent throughout the bottle.

A bit tannic and has some awkward sweetness. It has some earth to make it decent overall, but it’s meh.

Very odd. My husband took off the foil top and there was no cork! Of course it had turned. Found everywhere so no clue where he bought it. Very odd.
