Brazin, from Lodi, one of the oldest California wine growing regions. This is a big Zin, with aromas of ripe berries and bold spice. On the palate jammy blackberry and sweet strawberry flavors, nice acidity on a balanced frame. Medium finish ending with spicy pepper notes.

Lots of layers that keep you coming back trying to figure out this complex balanced wine. I like my zin's a little more jammy and over the top. For disclosure reasons, it should be noted that I work for this winery.

A Zinfandel I can actually agree with! Delicious stewed plums and raspberries.

Awesome just to sip. Also had it with Greek yogurt marinated grilled chicken thighs. Was perfect. Then had it with melted chocolate (being used to make chocolate covered strawberries) and was awesome. Very versatile.

Inky purple in color. Mint, butter, black currant, prune notes and some ethanol in nose. Mint, strawberry and butterscotch notes in mouth with raspberry, spice and cherry in finish. Layered, complex flavor profile, some rough astringency on tip of tongue initially. Slight acid (sour cherry, with time green pepper) and seed tannin aftertaste develops over time. A lovely low to medium-priced fruit-forward Zin with character. Great value

My "go to" barbecue wine - raspberry, dark cherry, cedar, with a spicy pepper finish. Makes my BBQ ribs sing and can even go into dessert pairing with dark chocolate molten cake. Now I am hungry... #employee
