A very interesting looking bottle I had in my NZ cellar! This Brassknocker 2008 Pinot Noir comes from New Zealand’s Central Otago Wine Region (right down the bottom of the South Island) and is the second label of McArthur Ridge Wines.
I found it a rather light ruby red colour on the eye. There was a certain richness yet freshness on the nose. Truffles, leather and lychee come to mind. In the mouth it has an upfront berry fruitiness with some fresh citrus acidity and spice. I enjoyed it 🍷
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
