What varietal is this? Not your typical jammy Zin from CA. Not overly fruity, and very dry which completely hides the 15% alcohol.

Jammy, earthy, rich but nicely balanced! Good age on it but definitely has some years to integrate even more.

Soft vanilla, baking spices and lavender on the nose, lush berry/cherry on the front palate, just a touch of acid, then finishing on vanilla again. One of the more balanced Zinfandels I've had in awhile.
