What varietal is this? Not your typical jammy Zin from CA. Not overly fruity, and very dry which completely hides the 15% alcohol.

Soft vanilla, baking spices and lavender on the nose, lush berry/cherry on the front palate, just a touch of acid, then finishing on vanilla again. One of the more balanced Zinfandels I've had in awhile.

High on the alcohol but it doesn’t come across. Smoother than most Zins from Cali and without all the sugary mouth feel.
