Not your typical Cab Franc from France. This California version has some earthy dusty tones on the nose. Hints of dill, and a ton of extracted oak and sugar. Almost like spiced mulled wine for Christmas in a glass. Nutmeg and baking spices , within the oaky liquid. Not really for me, just too overly sweet. Recipe wine-making, sorry. 14.5%

Very nice Bordeaux style varietal that's easy, aromatic and a finish of blue berries and plums. Great with dinner or after dinner. Or...both!
