WOW!! What a surprise. £8.10, and every penny (and much more) counted. By no means the greatest Californian Cabernet I’ve ever had, but tremendous value nonetheless. Only slight gripe would be the fairly wimp tannic structure - expected this to be stronger - but everything else was on point. Plenty of fruit in perfect harmony with the wine’s acidity, and a lasting finish that’s proven best on the third day. This may not age well, but I’ll certainly get a few more.
