Bouchard Père et Fils
Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay
Ladoix, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France
Lemon, crème brûlée, and oaky vanilla. Intense stone and minerals on the finish. A ripe vintage with decent new oak, but this comes together superbly. Will age nicely but why is the cork composite on a Grand Cru?

One of the best Corton Charlemagne's I've had - in magnums at the Chapitre.
