Our first Beaujolais. The aroma was the best part - red fruit. I smelt cherry nibs Jody said cherry jam, neat. It was somewhat sweet but not offensive. Easy drinking good for cocktail hour.

Apr 22nd, 2017Nice fresh, light fruity notes. Medium acidity, fairly low tannins. The end is rather blasé - flavors just abruptly drop off.

Yum and light . Best on its own, likely on a hot summer day . Doesn't go great w other strong flavours ie smoked cheeses and more flavourful wines.

It has a taste of vinegar that I don't appreciate. I wouldn't buy it again.
