Mendoza Malbec

Trying some new things this past weekend. For camping felt the need for a box wine. Surprisingly good, this worked just fine.

This is the only good box wine I have ever had. It's simply drinkable--plush, jammy, malbec-y. Soft tannins. Cheap crowd pleaser that any wine snob will probably enjoy.

Great Malbec for a box. Good every day drinking wine that lasts and lasts.

Good but can’t do too much

Hint of sweetness up front?

Grape and peppercorn. Fruity and dry.

Good all around Malbec. Great price. I keep it on the counter for a daily glass.

Good value...nice body. Decanted and used aerator pourer. Great with spaghetti & meatballs. Will definitely buy this wine again.

Great taste. Not dry. Smooth with a hint of blackberry. Ideally paired with a medium rare steak.

Needs to breathe a bit but this is miles better than your typical $5/bottle wine. The zin and cab sav are also solid. Bota Box has changed the game.
