I really love Bota box Redvolution but this one isn't as good. Not at all. Jury is still out but I'm not a fan yet. Very aciditic. No vanilla noted here. Maybe it would be better cold?

Better than I expected. Was afraid but it's tolerable. Not great, but okay. It's for the masses, smooth, palatable, almost no tannins or finish.

Not a bad drink, especially considering the price.

Wanted to like it for the price and convenience, but it was just too sweet for a Cab! Not a big fan...

Oh boy, more box wine, Jay's gone off the deep end. I can assure you that that is not the case. After previously doing some cooking with Pinot I'm trying my hand with Cab cooking now. I don't see myself drinking much of this box (it's nice enough for a basic CA Cab, with the fruit notes you'd expect), the main issue is that if you're looking to drink a Cab - a CAB - this isn't what you're looking for. Fairly light bodied and oaked within an inch of its life, you might convince your non-Cab drinking friend to enjoy the grape using this box, but they'd still say "WTF?!" if you put a glass of Silver Oak in front of them. My braised short ribs already smell amazing, on the other hand.
