I'm not normally a big buyer of South African reds but I saw this Nero d'Avola and figured it had to be tried, I'm always here for quirky wines. Rich aroma of leather, sweet blackberry, some farmyard funk. Sweet fruited on the palate and a bit meaty, not as complex as palate suggested but good pairing to steak.
