Roggio dei Roveri Refosco

2002 Vintage. A bit past its prime. Let it breathe about four hours to pair with a thick grilled steak. Heavy on the prunes with a bit of sweaty leather... almost a ruddy red. Good with the seasoned, sangue steak , but can’t imagine much else.

2002 vintage - this was (unfortunately) way over the hill with only faint aromas of tart cherry, leather and earth
