A nice complementary blend of cab and Shiraz, with the latter adding a delicate touch of spice. Not a very complex wine but quite rich after just 2 years and certainly very drinkable

Tasted blind, straight from the nose we could tell this was from South Africa. Wine was garnet red with some slight browning on the edges. Nose was a classic SA wine, a little dirty and some light grilled meat with a little green pepper. The interesting part was subtle undertones of perfume. Moderate tannins (6/10) with some light sediment in the glass, moderate body and moderate plus finish. Definitely more rustic on the palate with some earthy and vegetal notes. An absolutely great South African wine! Drink till 2020.
