Medium ruby in color; cherries, black pepper, and smoke on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like sour cherries, clay pots, and strawberries with a long finish. It really opened up after decanting for about an hour. Nellie says she likes the flavor, but it's really acidic. Should be great with a creamy pasta. I agree it's too acidic without food.

This presented very well tonight and was actually my WOTN. Dried garden herbs, spiced cherries, dry leather, anise and clove.
