Borovitza
Great Terroirs Granny
Bright, clean cherry, moreish, a bit inky - more like a grenache than a pinot noir - doesn't taste funky in any way desoite no sulfites - but not long or complex.

Jan 18th, 2019Saw this in a wine store and never had a Bulgarian so why not try it. I'm not disappointed but I'm not happily surprised. Dark cherry, white chocolate, definitely taste the effects of the 30 months of oak. Easy and short finish with grippy medium tannines and quite some acidity but overall flat. Nothing bad for a Tuesday on the couch, not going to complain

Sep 4th, 2017A dark violet core, moving to an orange to a slight rose color when airated, pronounced acidity, slightly sweet. This Gumza grape doesn't have any of very few aromatic characters apart of being very oaky. The wine is a bit flat even when we left it to breathe.
