Medium weight on the nose with complex notes of ripe briar berries and touch of mocha and earth. Vibrant and juicy on the palate with bright acidity and spice. Flavors of black fruits, pomegranate and blackberries lead to notes of oak, chocolate, dried herbs and just a touch of black pepper. The finish is long and bright with lasting fruit, bright acidity and soft, drying tannins. Paired well with spicy sausage risotto.

Deep, smoky, earthy nose. Aromas of plum, black pepper, black olive, cocoa powder, tar and dried herbs. Surprisingly young and fresh on the palate. Flavors of black cherries and plums lead to dark flavors of dusty, dried herbs, earth and a touch of tar balanced by striking acidity. The finish is long and smooth with just a hint of spice and drying tannins. Reminiscent of a wonderful Tuscan red.
