Smokey. Intense. Caramelized sugars, sea salt, cedar, honey. It's a little bitter from the alcohol but the ice mellows it out. Lip tingling ABV. The perfect pipe or cigar companion. There's a little mint that emerges as it dilutes. It tastes good but lacks a little balance.

Probably my favorite regular bourbon. Perfect balance of raw grain and sweet wood - caramel, vanilla, toffee, a little cherry. At 64.5%, I packs a wallop. One of the few bourbons that really shines on the rocks.
