Inky purple in the glass with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, crushed violets, licorice, and smoke. Big and rich black and blue fruits on the palate with good length. Medium+ acidity with prominent tannins of silky texture. Made from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre sourced from the Fulldraw Vineyard located right behind the estate Booker Vineyard. This is the last vintage of this bottling as in the future this fruit will go into the Oublie cuvée. I love Eric Jensen’s full throttle but not over the top style. 15.1% ABV. $75.

Like having a nice piece of nicely spiced BBQ pork with huckleberry compote.

Watching the World Series with my wife. Last day of harvest... It is very hard watching teams other than my St Louis REDBIRDS. My wife said she wanted to cheer me (and @Bill Bender up.)

2015 Vintage. 14.5% Alcohol. 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah. Still needs time.

48% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 15.3% ABV

Fruit is fantastic, tannin active and could use two more years laying down.

2016 Vintage. Same notes as previously posted by @Al Shikoh but more time has been good.

2013 Vintage. 15.3% Alcohol. 48% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre. In a great place now singing dark fruits and unctuous with velvety mouthfeel.

Deep purple, ripe red and blue fruits, chalk, black currant, black cherry, silky tannins, lingering taste of prunes and cherries. Pretty solid way to end a long week.

Underwhelmed by this, especially vs. the rest of the night’s lineup. A bit one dimensional and not what I expect from Booker. Admittedly drank it too early, so I’m willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.
