I really enjoyed this. Some in our group had some off tastes as the night went on, but I thought it just kept getting better.

Ripe, still saturated, almost viscous 100% Syrah.,.Blue black in color, blackberry and cassis pour from the glass. Stylistically, I’m moving away from this style, but tonight with medium rare filets, fresh golden beets, and a baked potato with all the trimmings, I was smiling and thoroughly enjoyed the super-abundance..

As insanely awesome as expected. God bless these people and their grapes.

Awesome syrah from Eric Jensen at Booker! Incredibly rich aromas of something akin to a blackberry reduction, along with hints of black pepper, iodine, and candied blueberries. Full-bodied palate with layers of glycerin, but enough acidity to prevent it from being cloying. Pretty impressive with regard to primary flavors and aromas given its age. I suspect that a lot of the charm of this wine is going to be lost as it ages, so my recommendation is to drink this now!
