Dense purple, highly extracted. Black currant, vanilla and mint-eucalyptus aromas. Smooth mouthfeel, cherry, blackberry flavors. Moderate skin astringency on finish

Pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive Cabernet Sauvignon. Plum, fig, and a hint of coffee on the nose. Full bodied with a tinge of sweetness due to a bit higher residual sugar. However this fits well with the fruit forward flavors of plum and cherry on the palate. Paired well with quarantine & homemade French onion soup! [3/22/20] ($10)

Another hit from this winery. Medium body with a smooth finish. Could probably stand another couple of years.

Solid cab. Easy to drink on its own.

I drank it but I wouldn’t buy it again. I powered through because, well, it’s Blaine. But the flavor was disappointing.

Strong fermented smell and taste, with an incredibly full bodied drink. Slightly sour ending.

Big plum and dark cherry flavors, some spice and vanilla, oak, all classic flavors. Highly extracted. Acidity is out of balance, but better integration than the merlot. Value is fine on a bogo deal, but like its cousin not worth revisiting.

I like that it is made with organic grapes and the flavor of the grape comes through with a clean taste. For a Cab it is not heavy, but flavorful. It will be one I choose for table wine for sure.
