Boniperti Vignaioli
Favolalunga Vespolina
The 2016 Favolalunga is very pretty. Sweet red cherry, mint, pine, crushed flowers and licorice are all very nicely lifted in this gracious mid-weight Vespolina from Boniperti. The 2016 is subtle, nuanced and very expressive. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, April 2020)

Oct 14th, 2019Ages and mellows very well if kept right. Mellow bouquet with honey notes. Sour cherry on the pallette. Needs a little time to breathe.

Dec 17th, 2019Outstanding Vespolina from Piedmont, Colli Novaresi. From the town of Barengo, this Vespolina has hints of pomegranate and is produced by the Boniperti winemakers, from the family of Gianpiero Boniperti, legendary Juventus striker and president. My first glass of red wine in a month, worth it!
