100% Vespolina. Stainless steel fermented. Pomegranate, sour cherry, cherry juice, mushroom, cigar, ash, tobacco, tea leaves. Alto Piemonte’s answer to Barbera. Elevated acidity, medium low fine tannins, medium alcohol. Medium finish and intensity.

Outstanding Vespolina from Piedmont, Colli Novaresi. From the town of Barengo, this Vespolina has hints of pomegranate and is produced by the Boniperti winemakers, from the family of Gianpiero Boniperti, legendary Juventus striker and president. My first glass of red wine in a month, worth it!
