2018 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 20 mins and 2 hours. Medium-heavy body, Plenty of dark cherry influence in the nose and flavor profile. Some frontal palate richness but not nearly as many interpretations of this vineyard in the last decade or so. Less extracted and more honest so some points for that. A bit of a letdown on the back end regarding terroir/earthiness/soil. Well made and obvious pedigree but missing that special element. 8.8.24.
