Tight, but gets nicely plump after about 10 minutes or so. A damn good bottle at $12, stood up nicely to an arrabbiata sauce despite not being heavy on the tannis.

Medium bodied, fruity bouquet, but the tinny finish isn't great.

Was eating a Digorno spinach mushroom pizza and decided to try this; why not? For me, bold and not intimidated by the pizza. This needs a medium rare ribeye!
8/9/14: opened another bottle of this over a month ago: ugh! Rather than throw it out, I used an ornamental cork stopper & kept for cooking. Forgot about it until about 2 weeks ago... Took a taste: voila! It was great. Go figure!

Very fruity and smooth. Great all around table wine. Good for just drinking without food but versatile enough to go with a variety of bistro fare (from burgers to stew)
