California Merlot

Almost like a cab. Smooth, warm, but not too heavy. Really inexpensive (at Astor Wines). Would get a case.

Full bodies red with high tannins. Quite creamy with prominent dark fruits. Sweet to begin with and then has subtle hints of dark fruit.

Pretty smooth and decent finish. Lacking on the nose but made up for it in body.

Always amazing, full of milk chocolate currant flavors with coffee finish.

Plush and pleasant. Chocolate, plum and dark berry with good integrated tannins which add some complexity. $17

Taste: fruity, hints of black cherry
