Bogle Family Vineyards
California Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark ruby color lot with bright purple on the rim. Nose of spice, some oaky note, quite marginal dark fruit note, a bit cherry, tobacco leaves, some strength of alcohol, and some more grassy note. Taste follows similar note with tobacco leaves and grassy notes standing out, a bit residual sweetness of raisins , and sweet oak. Some tannins and bittersweet in the aftertaste. An on par Cabernet with everything in the norm.

Oct 31st, 2018Not profound but very drinkable and enjoyable with Barbecue. Enough body to stand up to smoky flavors. Not a big finish but pleasant

Jun 25th, 2018This is a bang for your buck wine. A strawberry nose with strawberry, cherry and vanilla on the palate with a cedar backbone. The vanilla lingers with moderate acid. There is too much sugar and not much tannin for a cab, but for $9 a bottle one can’t complain.

May 22nd, 2018Smells, tastes, and looks like a sweet delicious strawberry wine - surprisingly easy to pair with hard and soft cheeses or even spicier hot food.
