This was a gift given to me for Christmas. I would probably not purchase for myself. I would probably see this at a wedding or a large event. On the nose I get blackberry, blueberry, currant and loamy soil. On the palate there is blackberry, black cherry and currant. Medium Acidity and Medium + tannin. This is thin at the initial taste and all the fruit comes at the mid palate and a long finish with no backend.

This has an oaky taste on the palette yet moderate enough to not pick up on it in the aroma. The color is a deep red. Tastes of the dark berries of black and blue. Enjoying it while preparing the Worth It Lasagna we are having for Christmas dinner.

Great wine. Goes down smooth, not too dry. Price is one of the best parts. To me it was great with goat cheese.
