1962 Vega Sicilia Unico. Most interesting wine of the tasting. Started out with classic earth, funk notes. Decanted abt an hour before pouring. In the glass, abt 2 hours into dinner, wine took on coffee, toffee, butter notes. Great body.

Sep 29th, 20191962 Vega Sicilia. Decanted for an hour before first sip and it was still very tight. Opened up a lot through the night. Note it was optimal for one hour decanting and one hour of drinking. Got flabby around the 2 hour mark. Amazingly youthful, with bright fresh fruit though, before that.
