Pretty tasty stuff. Opened up to a weedy character. Not a pop and pour kind of wine. Took about 20 minutes to just SETTLE DOWN. Black fruit nose...plums and dates. Bit tart on the entry but that settled down after 20 minutes. Entry is mulberry, plums, sweeter character shows in the middle where this one gains substantial body. Finishes with a hint of dried tobacco on a darker foundation. This wine is in a good spot right now and not entirely sure that this one will really improve all that much with added bottle aging.
