A little harsh. Needs some time to decant to get to best flavor. Still never makes it to a $13 bottle. Good daily drinker at 7 not 13.

Initial Big upfront with a bold almost harsh explosion of tannins that mellows quickly. ( we did decant this wine) but the second taste ( with lasagna) was softer with a complex changing taste that fades quickly.
