Very good intro to riojo

Full bodied. Yummy.

Delicious! Dry with dark fruit--currant--and spice. Wonderful with lamb.

Strange after taste that I didn't fully like. Could have been the toasted oak taste

Very delicious !!

A nice solid crianza tempernillo blend. A touch fuller-bodied than a pinot, which makes it more interesting for me.

True to varietal. Leather and spice on the nose. A little tannic but otherwise well balanced. Nice smoke. Priced fairly at $18, but I I'll look for a better value in future. $14 would have been a steal.

Light and fruity. Not a great one.

For an inexpensive Rioja, this one knocks it out of the park. Fairly complex medium-bodied wine with ripe fruit and hints of leather.
