It’s been a hot second since I’ve come across this wine. Was a great value before, the price has gone up, and still a good drink!

Rustic, rich cherry vanilla tobacco and a savory, subtly tannic grip on the finish that’s oh-so-Tempranillo! 😊

$15 Big nose! Strong notes of baking spice and vanilla. Notes of blackberry, red currant and black cherries on the nose. Full bodied. Chewy tannins. Medium alcohol. Medium acid. Medium plus tannins. Off-dry. Well balanced. Notes of baking spice, black cherry, blackberries and vanilla on the palate. This is a delicious wine with deep notes of warm spice and lingering tannins. This feels like a great wine to drink in front of a fire on a rainy night in December... or any other night of the year. First time drinking a Tempranillo!

Nice fruity, rustic wine. Tastes like a local village wine. Fresh and fun, and good with Manchego cheese. What Monsignor Quixote would have had on the road.
