Couldn't stop drinking it. Lots of herbs on the nose with bright crunchy dark fruits. Spades of cracked pepper. Iodine streak. Really cool wine.

A lot of wineries in #winesfromspain and also in France are waving the flag about their Atlantic influence and what they're trying to transmit is that they are "fresher" wines with med+ to pronounced acidity and a more herbal or balsamic character. I'm normally not a fan of the #comandog wines from the area of Madrid, but in the case of this wine from #ribeiro the whole #cluster ferments and their approach to winemaking works quite well

Wow. A Pinot style red out of Spain with luscious earthiness and deep flavors.

This was sublime. The brancellao spice and the taut Caiño make for a delightful wine.
