Before trying this out, I didn't really know Prieto Picudo. This was like a Lake County Zin with more pronounced fruit and a little less spice. Such a monster of a wine, and so pleasant considering it was a 2007 vintage and thus 6 years old at the time of consumption. Very well put together!
